A serious accident at Km 15 of the Floriano Rodrigues Pinheiro Highway (SP-123), on the afternoon of this Thursday (17), in Tremembé (SP), involving a truck and a pickup truck, killed three people, according to the Military Highway Police (PMRv).

According to the Military Highway Police, the vehicles collided head-on at around 5:30 PM, but the reason for the collision is still unknown.

According to police, the three people killed were the truck driver and two people who were in the pickup truck. The truck belongs to the company Trans Celestial, from Paulínia, in the interior of São Paulo state, and the pickup truck has license plates from São José dos Campos (SP). Police reported that fire department teams worked at the accident site until 8 pm.
